Earlier today, JTBC announced that they have cast Soo Ae and Kim Kang Woo for their new drama Gong Jak City (literal title). Screenwriter Son Sae Dong and Mystic Pop-Up Bar director Jeon Chang Geun joined hands for the project, and the cast lineup that includes Soo Ae and Kim Kang Woo is already raising expectations. Soo Ae will return to the small screen after five years as Yoo Jae Hee, the head of the Sung Jin Cultural Foundation. As the second daughter-in-law of the Sung family, she is in charge of operating ŌĆ£Space Jin,ŌĆØ the art museum owned by Sung Jin Group. Believing that poverty ruins love and that a stable income equals a steady life, she dumped her long-time lover and chose a marriage of convenience with Jung Joon Hyuk, an illegitimate son of Sung Jin Group.
