On Friday, it was reported that Kim Go Eun and Lee Do Hyun were cast in the new movie The Unearthed Grave (literal title). The Unearthed Grave is the new occult thriller movie by The Priests and Svaha: The Sixth Finger director Jang Jae Hyun. It tells an eerie story that happens to a geomancer, a funeral director, and a shaman who are commissioned to relocate the cursed tomb. Choi Min Sik was cast to play geomancer Ji Kwan a long time ago (geomancer interprets markings on the ground or the patterns formed by tossed handfuls of soil, rocks, or sand). Since then, people have been wondering whoŌĆÖll be playing a funeral director and a shaman. According to the reports, Kim Go Eun was offered the role of a shaman and Lee Do Hyun a funeral director. Kim Go Eun, who mostly played lovely, upbeat characters, will be making a shocking transformation into a shaman if she joins the project. Moreover, Lee Do Hyun will be making his silver screen debut in the new film by Jang, who pioneered the Korean occult genre. The Unearthed Grave will start filming in the second half of this year.
