Producer Yoo Hye Seung, Jang Sung Kyu, Jang Hang Jun, and Jang Do Yeon attended the press conference for GgoGooMoo Season 2, which was held online on the afternoon of the 3rd. GgoGooMoo is a program in which three storytellers unravel stories about ŌĆśthe dayŌĆÖ which school the Republic of Korea. As it began as a pilot project last year, the show has become a hot topic within 10 episodes of its first season. The ŌĆśJang TrioŌĆÖ said that they will be telling even more interesting stories in the second season. Jang Sung Kyu also stated that ŌĆ£The way we get to talk as if weŌĆÖre talking to our friends, is quite innovative and groundbreaking. Many calls were made asking for an appearance on the show after Jang Do Yeon promoted the show at last yearŌĆÖs awards ceremony. Season 2 is to include more real reactions as guests have voluntarily chosen to appear instead of being asked to.ŌĆØ Producer Yoo Hye Seung said that the scale for season 2 is much grander. ŌĆ£Whilst we dealt with smaller incidents which were quite unknown in the first season, the second has events that can change modern Korean history. We prepared for stories which will teach you a thing or two,ŌĆØ he explained. They also pointed out the difference from SBSŌĆÖs iconic program, Unanswered Questions. Some say that the show has been provocative as there were a number of crime stories in the first season. Yoo Hye Seung describes GgoGooMoo as the milder-tasting version of Unanswered Questions. The biggest difference is that the latter deals with ongoing events and the prior deals with past events that are already over. ŌĆ£The important question lies in why we should bring up the past and remember it again,ŌĆØ he revealed.
Season 2 of GgoGooMoo heralded the appearance of Jang TrioŌĆÖs besties including Kai, singer Jay Park, actors So Yoo Jin, Jung Woo, and comedians Park Sung Kwang and Hwang Je Sung. GgoGooMoo is to kick off at 10.30 p.m. KST on the 11th. ┬Ā Source (1)
