According to a now-suspended Twitter user, a male idol approached her and her friend while they were in a bar in Korea and inappropriately touched them without their consent. The user claimed that he constantly brought up the name of his former boy group to attract women even though he is no longer part of the group and the agency. Towards the end, the user hinted that the idolŌĆÖs name started with a ŌĆ£WooŌĆØ and that he was signed to a Big 3 company (SM Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, YG Entertainment). This led many K-pop fans to wonder if former Stray Kids member Woojin was the idol in question. Since these allegations first broke out, other Twitter users have posted about similar experiences involving Woojin and other male idols. Woojin himself released an official statement on his Twitter: ŌĆ£Hello. This is Kim Woojin. I have gone through something ridiculous today.. so I am releasing a statement to inform my fans of this current situation. Someone spread strange rumors on Twitter and deleted their account.. I have never met this person and I have never been to the place they mentioned. My fans must have felt very surprised because of this, but since this is not the truth, do not worry too much about it. In addition, I have recently signed a contract with a company that I really like and I am currently preparing for my solo activities. The company plans to take action against the spread of false rumors and take care of any responses that follow, so please do not worry too much. I will update you again soon. Thank you.ŌĆØ Twitter user @ehwkala posted screenshots of the Twitter userŌĆÖs original tweets:
